At long last, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has openly admitted that she was the one holding up a coronavirus relief package for the American people since last summer. There’s been a lot of finger-pointing by both sides all along as the American middle class started to dry up and blow away. Small businesses and livelihoods in still-untold numbers were destroyed this year because of government-forced lockdowns. Now they’re locking us down again in many states, in a self-fulfilling prophecy of Joe Biden’s “dark winter.”

But let the callousness of this sink in: Nancy Pelosi personally allowed millions of American families to suffer unimaginable misery because it was an election year.

“I told the [Democrat] Members,” stated Pelosi, “I’m not bringing any more bills that are not bipartisan.”

Pelosi personally kept a second round of stimulus from coming to the House floor because they were not “bipartisan” – meaning that the Republican bills offered by the Senate did not contain all of the special interest pork and Green New Deal fantasy cash that the Democrats wanted. Both sides agreed that Americans who had been furloughed or who had seen their incomes drastically reduced needed relief. Why didn’t she allow a vote on that bill?

Trump went to the Senate and told Mitch McConnell he wanted a bill for just plain old clean stimulus checks to American families. Nothing else. No cash for museums, bailout for rich multinational corporations that don’t need it, no pet projects for donors. Just stimulus cash for American workers. The Executive branch and the Senate were in favor of that plan. Nancy Pelosi blocked it. Apparently, that wasn’t “bipartisan” enough for her.

As small businesses were going out of business because of the lockdowns, Pelosi’s shock troops in Black Lives Matter and Antifa were destroying even more businesses.

More than 1,000 stores were looted, ransacked, burned and destroyed in Chicago. If you try to visit Chicago right now, it’s a very different place than a few months ago. If you take a cab from O’Hare to Downtown, be sure to eat something first. You won’t be able to find a restaurant that’s open. And don’t be surprised if your cabbie stops for gas before getting into the Downtown area. Gas stations that don’t have a death wish are all closed in Downtown. Not that you’ll see any of that on the news.

In Kenosha, Wisconsin, where young Kyle Rittenhouse is being charged with “murder” for defending businesses against Antifa pedophiles and car thieves, more than 100 buildings with an unknown number of small businesses in them were destroyed this summer. In Los Angeles, targeted looting efforts laid waste to 170 pharmacies and who knows how many other businesses. Chinatowns across America were ransacked, due to having so many product stores that cater to black shoppers – hair and nail salons and so forth.

Almost zero of those businesses have reopened. They haven’t received insurance money yet, and even if they do, that won’t pay for the hazmat cleanup fees they’ll be forced to pay in order to clean up the burn sites before they can rebuild. Would you try to rebuild in the same spot after that? Why should the owners who lost everything due to a Democrat Party conniption fit?

And more to the point: All of the blue-collar employees at all of those businesses are still out of work. They needed help, while Nancy Pelosi was gushing over her gourmet ice cream out of her $20,000 luxury freezers at her palatial vineyard – while she wasn’t getting her hair done in a shuttered salon that she later blamed for “a set-up” when she got caught.

Do not forget this moment that we’re struggling through right now in America. Nancy Pelosi admits that she allowed this to happen. She doesn’t deserve all of the blame, though. Her underlings in the Democrat Party went along with it. They allowed her to get away with. Only a tiny handful of House Democrats ever spoke up against it and called for a stimulus deal with Trump and McConnell. Just you wait: Those Democrats will lose their committee assignments in January when Pelosi exacts her revenge against them for speaking out.

Americans should remember it was one party that slammed the amazing Trump economy into a brick wall last March. And we should remember that it was the same party – the Democrat Party – that refused to do anything when American workers cried out for help.
