Imagine for a moment that you’ve just sat down next to a stranger on a bus. She begins to tell you about how she launched her presidential campaign in 2015. The woman declares that she descended the golden escalator at her famous hotel in New York City and then she delivered a speech about illegal alien rapists crossing our southern border. You’d probably start inching away from that person. Very slowly. But here’s an odd thing: When Kamala Harris steals famous stories and inserts herself into them as the heroine (if you’ll forgive me for using a gendered term), journalists actually scoot closer to her!

Most of us knew kids who would tell whoppers about themselves when we were in junior high a few decades ago. Like the chubby kid whose girlfriend – who is a model, of course – lives in Niagara Falls, and no, you can’t meet her anytime soon. Or the wimpy kid who beat up three gang members over spring break and was lucky to get away alive. Looking back, we know that those kids were immature, lonely, emotionally insecure and going through the turmoil of puberty. They made up heroic and obviously fake stories about themselves in hopes that other people would like them.

But what does it mean when an adult who is a United States Senator still does that?

Back in October, the women’s magazine Elle published a nauseatingly sycophantic puff piece about Kamala Harris. You know, the sort of interview pieces that they’ve avoided doing for the past five years with Melania Trump.

And Kamala Harris tells quite a whopper about herself in the piece. I’m assuming that the person who interviewed her was another adult and probably a woman. Harris claims that her parents took her to a Civil Rights march in Berkeley, California when she was a toddler. She says that her parents and the other adults didn’t notice when little Kamala fell out of her stroller. They kept walking.

When they doubled back and found her, little Kamala was visibly upset.

“My mother tells the story about how I’m fussing,” Kamala Harris told the unbelievably naïve journalist, “And she’s like, ‘Baby, what do you want? What do you need?’ And I just looked at her and I said, ‘Fweedom!’”

It was sort of like that famous Mel Gibson scene in the movie “Braveheart,” but with a toddler version of Kamala Harris. Elle magazine published this story and offered it as evidence that, “Senator Kamala Harris started her life’s work young.”

Uh huh.

Anyone with an ounce of skepticism in their heart – the type of skepticism which modern journalists do not possess when interviewing liberals – could have spent five seconds researching that story and concluded that Kamala Harris is most definitely a liar and quite possibly a psychopath.

You can look this up yourself if you’ve a mind to do so. The Civil Rights protests in California were known as the “Incidents at Berkeley.” All of the Civil Rights marches for blacks in Berkeley, CA took place between 1961 and 1964. Those marches came to an end in 1964, with the passage of a landmark Republican piece of legislation called THE CIVIL RIGHTS ACT OF 1964.

All of the marches that happened in Berkeley in the remainder of the 1960s and early 1970s were related to the Vietnam War, because the civil rights issues for blacks had pretty much wrapped up by 1964 in California. (It’s not like California was a state being run by Democrats back then.)

What else do we know about 1964? Well, that was the year that Kamala Harris was born. There is a zero percent chance that Kamala Harris was being pushed around in a stroller at any civil rights marches in Berkeley, California.

Kamala Harris would have been just about one year old and certainly not talking about “fweedom” yet when liberal author Alex Haley interviewed Martin Luther King for Playboy magazine. Here’s an exact quote from Martin Luther King in that 1965 interview:

“I never will forget a moment in Birmingham when a white policeman accosted a little Negro girl, seven or eight years old, who was walking in a demonstration with her mother. ‘What do you want?’ the policeman asked her gruffly, and the little girl looked him straight in the eye and answered, ‘Fee-dom.’ She couldn’t even pronounce it, but she knew. It was beautiful!”

I’m not sure if Martin Luther King made that story up out of thin air, or if it was author Alex Haley, but that’s definitely a fake story. I’m leaning more towards it being something Haley made up for the interview.

You may or may not remember that Alex Haley was the author of “Roots,” the book that was the basis for the world-famous 1970s television miniseries. Haley always claimed that “Roots” was based on his own personal family history – right up until 1978, when he paid a gigantic monetary settlement to the white author that he had plagiarized “Roots” from.

Anyway, it seems appropriate in the month when we’ll be celebrating Martin Luther King Day (a federal holiday created by President Ronald Reagan) that Kamala Harris should be caught plagiarizing Martin Luther King. She should get together with… how you say in the English… Alec Baldwin’s wife! They could swap fake stories about themselves with each other!

The sleeper hit story of the holiday season this year was that Trump-hating Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin’s Spanish wife “Hilaria” – who has been a local media fixture in Boston for the past decade or so with her quirky Spanish accent – was actually born and raised in Boston. Her name is really “Hillary,” she’s white and all of her friends who went to high school with her are baffled by the fact that she now has a terrible accent and pretends that she’s from Spain.

It’s almost like there’s a pattern with all of these liberals!

They tell obvious lies about themselves – and then they all pretend to believe each other. I guess we know why they’re tearing down all the statues and trying to erase American history now. It’s inconvenient and embarrassing for them when they get caught attributing other people’s accomplishments to themselves.
