An historic moment that none of us really thought would ever arrive has happened: The smoking Russian collusion gun dropped last nigth. And it came at the behest of a person many of us have lost faith in – Attorney General Bill Barr. The public now has documentary evidence that Gen. Mike Flynn was framed by the FBI.

Bill Barr and Flynn’s attorney Sidney Powell finally compelled a judge to release the FBI’s notes about that fateful interview with General Flynn at the White House. That meeting happened just days after Donald Trump was sworn in as America’s president. Flynn had been tapped to serve as President Trump’s National Security Advisor, until he was caught in an FBI perjury trap and Trump fired him. Flynn later pled guilty to a felony of “lying to the FBI.”

But now that we have the FBI’s notes on the set-up, which are presumed to have been handwritten by Bill Priestap, we know what really happened. Here’s the exact quote from the notes:

“What is our goal? Truth/Admission or get him to lie, so we can prosecute him or get him fired?”

Based on this, we know beyond a shadow of any doubt that the FBI’s meeting with Flynn was not a “Let’s see where the evidence takes us” probe. It was a deliberate perjury trap, in which they did not inform him that he was the subject of a criminal investigation, did not read him his rights, did not allow him to have an attorney present during question.

Former FBI Assistant Director Andrew McCabe told Flynn there was no need to have an attorney present for this chat. Flynn didn’t even know he was being questioned when FBI agents came to the White House for what he thought was an informal chat, probably about his new job.

It’s now been more than three years since that happened. Peter Strzok was one of the FBI agents who was sent in by James Comey to interview Flynn. In an email to the FBI attorney and homewrecker Lisa Page, with whom Strzok was cheating on his wife, Strzok wrote, “It would be an easy way to just casually slip that in,” meaning he would casually mention to Flynn that it would be a felony for him to “lie” to the FBI.

I’ve talked about these FBI perjury traps a lot in the past and they are a serious miscarriage of justice. If the FBI asks if you had milk on your Cheerios for breakfast on a Tuesday in 1993 and you say, “Yes,” then they pull the perjury trap on you because they know that you actually had Corn Flakes and not Cheerios that day.

The FBI sends people it doesn’t like to jail for crap like that. They almost did it to Flynn. They might still do it if the judge doesn’t end up throwing the Flynn case out.

Flynn knew that he hadn’t lied to the FBI, but once the FBI has you in a perjury trap, they tell you to either plead guilty or they will keep digging until they destroy your family members. The FBI told Flynn in this case that they’d go after his son and destroy his life with a years-long investigation as well, so Flynn finally submitted and pled guilty to “lying.”

The Obama Justice Department needed Flynn to go down so they could keep their multi-faceted and entirely fake Russian collusion operation afloat. The goal was to prosecute him and/or get him fired, as Bill Priestap wrote in the notes. With Flynn fired and then facing charges, the Obama holdovers in the Justice Department were able to carry on with a friendly media breathlessly reporting the developments.

Flynn lied! He must have lied because he pled guilty! Was he taking payoffs from the Russians? Was he one of the go-betweens for Vladimir Putin and Trump?! It’s curtains for Drumpf! And what about STORMYYYYYYYYYY?!?!?!?!

I honestly didn’t think we’d ever see this evidence surface. Maybe I was wrong about Attorney General Bill Barr. For America’s sake, I hope I was. Here’s hoping that this begins to open the floodgates to some actual arrests.
