Congressional Inauguration Committee: Biden is Not President-Elect

Well, that’s got to be embarrassing! The entire mainstream media, every elected Democrat in Congress and even Fang Fang are desperately trying to declare that Joe Biden is the “President Elect.” But when it was put to a vote in the congressional committee that oversees presidential inauguration ceremonies this past week, the resolution failed. Sorry, Enemies of America who want to sweep the election fraud under the rug and swear Joe Biden in immediately: Biden is still not the President-Elect. Not only that, but this obscure congressional committee has opened yet another legal pathway for President Trump to be reelected. Hold onto your hats for this story!

Congress has something called the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies (JCCIC). It’s a pretty low-key committee that we rarely hear about, because it only meets once every four years to get ready for the inauguration. The committee was formed in the early 20th century, in accordance with the 20th Amendment (more on that later).

The JCCIC a six-member committee comprised of the following people this year:

Chairman Roy Blunt (R-MO), Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) and Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN).

The first order of business for the committee is to always pass a resolution declaring that so-and-so is the “President Elect.” Steny Hoyer put forward that resolution at the committee’s first meeting, and for the first time in the JCCIC’s history, it resulted in a 3-3 tie. The motion failed. The congressional inauguration committee did not recognize Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as President Elect and Vice President Elect.

This isn’t just some funny little congressional snit. This has major implications over who is going to be the next President (and Vice President) of the United States.

I’ve been complaining recently that not enough Republicans in Congress are fighting on behalf of President Trump right now. But after researching this story and the laws surrounding it, I suddenly have to move Mitch McConnell, Kevin McCarthy and Roy Blunt into the pro-Trump column.

I suspected that something was “up” with this vote, because Mitch McConnell never does anything by accident. We don’t call him Cocaine Mitch the Murder Turtle for no reason. McConnell is an expert on Senate rules and procedures and constitutional law. He’s truly an evil genius in this area, and I give him full credit for coming up with this plan, which I think he’s now put in motion.

It has to do with the 20th Amendment. I had to go back and re-read that Amendment, when I noticed this clause:

Section 3… the Congress may by law provide for the case wherein neither a President elect nor a Vice President elect shall have qualified, declaring who shall then act as President, or the manner in which one who is to act shall be selected, and such person shall act accordingly until a President or Vice President shall have qualified.”

Mitch McConnell… you evil genius Murder Turtle, you!

I wonder if Nancy Pelosi or Steny Hoyer even realize what Mitch McConnell has just done. We don’t have a President Elect or a Vice President Elect as of this moment. And if the Supreme Court rules in favor of the amazing Texas lawsuit against the fraudulent results in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan, we still will not have a President Elect or a Vice President Elect. Neither candidate will have 270 electoral votes.

McConnell has basically scrambled the calendar that we’re all used to abiding by in presidential election years. With no President-Elect, Congress can declare an “acting president” until one candidate “qualifies,” i.e., is legitimately elected (most likely by Congress). The Senate would have to play hardball with House Democrats, but we could end up in a scenario by which Donald Trump serves as “acting president” until the election issues are sorted out, no matter how many weeks or months that requires.

And more time on the clock only works to President Trump’s advantage. That’s why Democrats are in such a rush to declare the election over and certify Cheatin’ Joe the Kid Sniffer as “President Elect.”

Bravo, Mitch McConnell. He may not be President Trump’s best friend, but McConnell is having way too much fun appointing constitutional conservative justices to the courts – and he doesn’t want to give that up. Keep your chin up, everyone. There are still pathways open for President Trump’s second term. And now there’s one more, thanks to McConnell, McCarthy and Blunt making this vote in an obscure congressional committee.
